Manpower Staff Review
Non compliant with EEOC
This company is horrible. Especially former Employees Ellen Dizard and Shane Weaver.
They falsified documents to EEOC claiming I refused to be trained when I continually said I would be willing to come into be tested. Claimed I tried to extort money from them when actually I received a bribe attempt from Ms. Dizard. Mr.
Weaver has continued his abhorable behavior with his new employer. He fired me and then when Manpower told him he was wrong than he made a false offer of reviewing my resume. EEOC bought into their lies and denied my claim for discrimination based on race and age.
I have proof of everything I said to EEOC and to them.

Manpower not good company to work for in Louisiana
Horrible Experience - Experienced Industrial Worker
Hello,
I recently applied for a job outside of Manpower and then shortly after was contacted by Manpower offering me the same job.
I of course took the job and began my week, Monday the first, February 2016.
My first two days I had been trained on two separate tasks, each time I was told I was doing an excellent job and to keep up the good work and learn everything that I could.
The rest of my week I was doing the same job, which unusually was a simple job given my experience. All I was doing was stacking parts that came down a painting line onto pallets.
The job can't be down faster or slower because the line operates at the same speed at all times.
I was working with other people and no complaints were made about the remaining time I spent at the facility.
The end of my work week, I offered a ride to a coworker to pick up his check, my first check wouldn't be received till the following week.
When we pulled up to the office in McKenzie, Tennessee one of the staff members called me inside to inform me today was my last day at my new job.
Being my birthday, and having been told I was doing great, naturally I was very disappointed.
I told the staff member that I was going to call them and ask what it was that I had done wrong because I had been told it was regarding "performance."
Being a two person job and every part being lifted by two people and having not being able to move the parts any faster then they came down the line, I was unsure what I could have possibly done wrong.
I was then told if I contacted the employer I would not receive help from Manpower. I told the staff member that I hadn't signed any documents saying that I couldn't contact employers that I worked for and have done so numerous times with the staff members knowing that I did, and nothing ever being said against the action.
After leaving Manpower, I called the place I just left to let them know that I enjoyed my time there and if anything came available, my number was on the resume that I sent to them prior to getting hired through Manpower.
I was told by the H.R. Administrator that he would be happy to do that if anything came available and that honestly the only reason they let me go is that they had hired too many workers for the assignment.
After ending the call I called Manpower to ask that they adjust my profile and not have it say "performance" because I was technically still in training, and it had nothing to do with my performance.
From there I was told I would no longer able to be assigned any jobs through Manpower. I asked for the documents that I signed upon being signed up through Manpower. I was then refused and hung up on.
I really wish that I could speak with someone about this issue, because honestly its really disappointing that experienced workers end up going through this and it negatively effecting their career future.
I do wish to have the documents that I signed and my attorney, Greer and Greer in Paris, Tn, informed me that I have a right to those documents.
I hope to hear back from you and sorry if I have caused any inconvenience,

Manpower Recruitment Review
Korina Loera (Client Delivery Manager)
Inside Manager Korina Loera terminated me with lies from ConAgra Foods (Harvest Manor Farms), 11B Leigh Fisher Blvd, El Paso, TX 79906.ConAgra Supervisor Rafael Hernandez inform me that I couldn’t enter to work because I had ask for my job resignation to Karina.
I never ask for such resignation. According to her I was unable to adapt. Since my first day November 17, 2014, I never being absent; always on time, never taking days off, never leave earlier than 6:00 am.
My break no longer than 15 minutes and lunch 30 minutes.
Does that proves her I couldn't adapt?

Manpower is the worst
Unprofessional
I have certainly learned that the hard way that Manpower Group out of Milwaukee, WI have total disregard for employees contracted under them. From the outside looking in they must be on a commission of some sort.
I have never felt so irrelevant in my life. I get no call backs when something goes wrong. Payroll is a joke. I have had 3 pay checks not appear.
4 recruiters take over. Everytime there is an issue they just give me a new recruiter to call. Yet, when your contract is over you get flooded with calls about possible jobs opportunities. It's a malicious business and unfortunately when you do not have a choice but to take contract work you are treated this way.
I think they are aware of this a justify it. Vultures.

Manpower fires people for no reason whatsoever. I was also fired without a valid excuse, and on top of that, Manpower told me I could never use them again.
Not only that, but the branch I used closed down before anything could be resolved.
Nothing can be done for you. Unfortunately this is what happens when companies do their hiring via temp agencies. Plus, no grounds for legal action can be pursued due to most states "employment at will" labor law. Which means, unless you have a contract or bargaining agreement, no excuse is needed to fire a worker.
This is how it's justified, "People choose to gain employment at a certain place, nobody forced them. And they can leave at any time without reason." Basically, if you read more on this, they really emphasize "personal choice" most of the time.
So you didn't necessarily have to work for a company ("personal choice"), meaning, they don't have to give you a reason for why they let people go. However, this is still no excuse why they felt a need to fabricate a story in order to get rid of you.
I know it's terribly difficult to get a job these days, but I highly recommend for people to try and get work without using temp agencies.
